CSL awarded Grove, Seven Seas management contract

LONDON -- Centrica has awarded CSL a $5 million contract to manage the delivery of subsea EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning) and control system contracts for the Grove Extension and Seven Seas gas field developments in the southern North Sea.

Work has already begun with the award of the EPIC contract to Subsea 7, and procurement of long lead items is under way. The contract award for the supply of subsea controls system for Seven Seas is imminent and offshore well operations and drilling have begun on Grove, the company says.
