Swire Pacific Offshore orders eight AHTS vessels

SHANGHAI -- Swire Pacific Offshore has awarded IMT Marine Consultants a contract to design a series of eight IMT 957 AHTS/utility vessels to be built at Qingdao Qianjin Shipyard in Qingdao, China. Delivery dates begin in 2010.

The IMT 957 will have 4,800 hp, delivering 60 metric tons (60 tons) bollard pull on a vessel of 57 m (187 ft) length overall.
