PERTH, Australia -- The Rubicon Intrepid FPSO has arrived at Galoc field in service contract 14C offshore Palawan, Philippines. The FPSO sailed from Batangas, a port south of Manila.

With the FPSO now in the field, final preparations will begin to hook up the mooring and riser system over the coming week.

On completion of hook-up, final commissioning of both the subsea and FPSO equipment will be undertaken to ensure readiness. This is anticipated to take three weeks with the target of achieving first oil by the end of May.

Initial production will involve testing of the two wells prior to achievement of steady state production. The first cargo is anticipated mid/late June.
