DEVON, UK -- Centek Ltd. and a US oilfields services and products supplier in the Asia-Pacific region have signed a three-year agreement for the supply of casing centralizers. Countries included in the agreement are India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.

The Asia-Pacific agreement covers all Centek products, including the Centek S2 and the Close Tolerance centralizers used in extended reach, highly deviated and underreamed wells.

The Centek CT is a close tolerance design which is useful in deepwater drilling where operators have to run casing through an existing casing and the centralizer must be flexible enough to compress and expand fully back to gauge once in the open hole, the company says.
