RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil –Petroleo Brasileiro SA ha brought the FPSO Cidade de Vitoria onstream with the second production module at Golfinho field at 1,386 m (4,547 ft) water depth in Espirito Santo.
Initial production will be 20,000 b/d of light oil. Petrobras says plans are to connect two more producing wells by year-end to bring output to 70,000 b/d. The FPSO can process 100,000 b/d of oil.
