AGR introduces pipeline inspection tool

Offshore staff

STRAUME, Norway – AGR Group has introduced a pipeline inspection tool that operates with a small, inspection class ROV to examine welds by performing both high-resolution wall thickness mapping and time of flight diffraction inspection.

The AGR Neptune does not rely on diver support and can operate at depths to 6,000 m (19,685 ft). The AGR Neptune data is digitized and sent to the surface via the ROV's umbilical.
