PERTH, Western Australia -- The Harriet Joint Venture is targeting 1 tcf of natural gas in the Marley prospect, which lies much deeper than Australia's first oil field Harriet, which was discovered in Nov. 1983 and began producing in Jan. 1986.

Marley is also expected to produce 20 MMbbl of recoverable condensate. The field lies approximately 3.5 km (2 mi) west-southwest of the Campbell platform, off Western Australia.

The well will be drilled in the 4Q, according to a statement made by partner Tap Oil. Apache and Kufpec are the other partners in the block, which produces 26,000 b/d of liquids and 105 TJ/d of gas.
