Offshore staff
SINGAPORE -- Swiber Holdings Ltd has formed a subsidiary, Swiber Offshore India Pte. Ltd., to do business in the Middle East and India. The company has appointed Bijan Kumar Mahapatra as vice president of the group's new Middle East and India operations.
"This is a great opportunity for me as the Middle East and India regions are hot spots for offshore oil and gas activities. Leveraging on my experience and established network of business contacts in the Middle East and India, I look forward to being an integral part of Swiber's team and to further establish our market leadership in offshore EPCIC and marine support services in these regions," Mahapatra says.
The new office will be in Mumbai.
