WEST PERTH, Western Australia -- The acquisition of 3D seismic data offshore Senegal is scheduled for completion on March 25, ahead of schedule, according to First Australian Resources Ltd.
Operator Senegal Hunt Oil Co. is using the MVSymphony on the 2,050 sq km (792 sq mi) survey which is said to be the largest 3D seismic run ever conducted off Senegal.
This survey follows a 1,500 sq km (579 sq mi) survey by Edison in the Rufisque Deep Offshore block adjacent to the north.
