Gomez hub named ATP Innovator

ATP Oil & Gas Corp has named its 100%-owned and -operated Gomez floating production platform, ATP Innovator. The company acquired the semi (previously named Midland) from Rowan.

HOUSTON -- ATP Oil & Gas Corp has named its 100%-owned and -operated Gomez floating production platform, ATP Innovator. The company acquired the semi (previously named Midland) from Rowan.

The floater is fitted with capacity to handle 180 MMcfe/d, and will be expanded this summer to 220 MMcfe/d. The facility serves as a hub for Gomez, and for future wells from Anduin (MC 755), Anduin West (MC 667, 668, 754), and Gladden (MC 800).

The platform is installed on Mississippi Canyon block 711 in 914 m (3,000 ft) of water.
