HOUSTON -- A new version of the Jason Geoscience Workbench was released yesterday by Fugro-Jason.
This version of the fourth-generation JGW helps produce one consistent model for exploration and production purposes using 3D seismic inversion, interactive well tying, wavelet estimation, geostatistical inversion, AVA simultaneous inversion, rock physics, petrophysics, reservoir modeling, and advanced analysis and 3D visualization.
Release 7.2 introduces a new model builder, EarthModel FT, plus new modules 3D grid/CPG Builder and RockScale, for constructing simulation-ready grids and for upscaling JGW inversion results into such grids.
